Call for proposals

Who: all artforms.
What: If.... is a series of projects
that g39 is initiating as part of the
2009-10 season. g39 is changing
the way it uses the space and the
opportunities it can offer to artists.
It is making the ground floor space
available to independent artist
projects, experiments,
performances etc. This opportunity
is open to artists, curators and
other arts professionals at any
stage in their career who have an
idea they’d like to try out in a
gallery environment or new work
that they’d like to expose to a new
audience. These projects will
alternate with g39’s exhibition
programme.

When: 2009-10 programme.
Payments: successful projects will
receive the ground floor space for a
two-week period including
invigilators, publicity, and a small
project fee. The opportunity does
not include a preview event or
technical assistance so applicants
should be fairly self-sufficient.

send an email outlining your
proposal (max. 300 words) with
three images in JPEG format
(maximum size 1Mb per image),
CV and statement and link to your
website if you have one. This
project has a rolling deadline and
proposals will be looked at
regularly.
